In GDI there are 18 people working in the mold making department.
The mold making equipment consists of: 4 milling machines, 6 EDM machines, 2 grinding machines, 1 lathe, 2 drilling machines and 3 CNC machining centers (two in 11,000 rpm range and the other is in 24,000 rpm range). 

Most molds are completed within 3 to 7 calendar weeks after the final part files have been confirmed, and a PO has been issued to GDI. GDI Molds are made to meet all requirementsand standards needed by the customer. We not only provide the traditional cold mold tooling, but, we can also make hot runner molds, hot tip molds (single or multipoint), thin wall injection molds, over-mold tooling, In-Mold Decoration tooling, and rotating two shot molds.
